Pastor search COMMITTEE

Dear Church Family,
We are excited to announce that after much prayer, careful consideration, and seeking God’s direction, the Pastor Search Committee by majority vote is recommending Dr. Jeff Harper to the church as our candidate for pastor, in view of a call. We believe that his heart for ministry, commitment to biblical teaching, and his vision for the church align with Bellaire’s mission and values.

He will be preaching on August 23rd in both services and church members will have the opportunity to vote on the
recommendation at the end of the service. (in-person voting only)

We ask that each of you continue to pray for Jeff, his family, and our church family, and that you prayerfully consider this recommendation as we seek the Lord’s will for our church as we move forward.
We are thankful for the Lord’s guidance and are excited about what He has planned for our church.

Bellaire Baptist Church

Sunday Services at
8:15am & 10:15am

Worship services at Bellaire are the heart of our Sundays. We have two services, 8:15am and 10:15am. The main difference is the music, with the early service being more casual with hymns and the second service has the worship band that plays contemporary music.

Life groups at
9:00am on sundays

Life groups, also known as Small Groups or Sunday School, are how we experience life together. We have classes for every walk of life. For one hour a week we gather together to study the Bible and fellowship.

Wednesday Nights
at 6:00pm

Wednesday nights are for Prayer Meetings, Celebrate Recovery, and Monthly Grief Support. Choir Practice, Team Kid and Student Ministry are amazing too. There is always something happening!

Our Story

We are about one thing...reaching people with the life changing Gospel of Jesus and teaching and equipping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. That is why we exist. And we do that for one purpose...God's glory!

In 2011, we celebrated "50 Years of Changed Lives" and we are looking forward with great anticipation to the years to come! In 2021, we celebrated Pastor Dr. Randy Harper's 25th Anniversary at Bellaire.

We are a very diverse church family with people from all walks of life from babies to 'senior saints' and everywhere in between! Are you looking for a church to call home? Then we invite you to worship with us this weekend!

The Mission

The mission of Bellaire Baptist Church is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Vision

The vision of Bellaire Baptist Church is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
